◼︎FLOW FLORAL DESIGN

CHIHARU NAKAZATO/Floral Designer

I fell in love with Australia’s natural environment over ten years ago and have since spent quite a lot of time there. While visiting Australia, I had often felt that something was missing…that being flowers. I realized there seemed to be a lack of fresh flowers around, and in comparison to my home country Japan, less variety of flowers. Most fresh flowers tend not to last long in the dry, Australian heat.

On my return to Japan, it occurred to me that high quality, artificial flowers could be the perfect solution for Australians. As I have had the pleasure of studying and working with fresh flowers for over 20 years, I know only too well how beautiful they are. However, now after several years working with artificial flowers, I’m confident in saying they can be just as beautiful as fresh flowers, if not more so.

By using a wide range of varieties and special techniques, it’s possible to create unique, artistic designs that will last a long time, if not forever. I hope to introduce you to the world of artificial flowers and share my passion and love of flowers with you.

I am currently working as an artificial flower designer based in Japan and Australia.
